Tinubu Says Early Result Of Reforms Encouraging, Fantastic

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the official opening of the Headquarters of the Nigeria Revenue Service in Abuja, declared that the early results of his tax and economic reforms are encouraging and fantastic.

The President stated that the tax and physical reforms introduced by his administration system is to further eliminate distortion and create a fair transparent and investment Friendly environment for all and sundry in the country.

President Tinubu said his government remained committed to building an economic with focus on discipline and fairness in the overall interests of all Nigerians.

The President declared that the event was not just a mere commission of an edifice, but a milestone in the national journey, deliberately to strengthen the physical foundation and rebuild confidence in public institutions.

The President said the administration took the bold decision and embarked on far reaching tax and physical reforms to simplify the system, eliminate distortion and create a fair transparent and investment Friendly environment.

According to him, the early results are encouraging and fantastic; he commended the Minister of State for Finance and his team.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio asserted that Nigeria is determined to build a future with discipline and accountability, stressing that everyone must be focusing on the current reforms.

The Minister of State for Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, declared that the tax system in Nigeria is now on a positive trajectory and would, in no doubt, improve the economy.

The Executive Chairman, Nigeria Revenue Service, D. Zacch Adedeji, commended President Tinubu for the vision of repositioning the tax system, saying that beyond taxation, fiscal governance has been strengthened through improved remittance
systems, enhanced transparency mechanisms, and tighter controls on public financial
flows.
