Iwobi unfazed by Zaha, Carrasco prospective move
Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi has insisted that he will welcome competition from both Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Carrasco if Arsenal signs them this summer.
The Gunners boss has been shopping for players to strengthen his squad ahead of competition next campaign. Though Crystal Palace seems to have turned down the north Londoners' £40 million opening bid, they might make another offer before the transfer window closes next month.
Iwobi scored Arsenal's last goal last season after coming on in the second half of their 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Europa League final. The Emirates Stadium outfit is also interested in signing Belgian star Yannick Carrasco who might give him competition in the same position.
When asked about the new prospect, the 23-year-old said he is unfazed by the fore mentioned players prospective move to the club.
The Gunners will be hoping to return to the Champions League next season having failed to finish in the top four since 2015-16.
Iwobi is confident that the north Londoners are capable of producing a strong campaign.
He is currently representing Nigeria at the 32 edition of Africa Cup of Nations championship in Egypt and they await their opposition in the second round.
