A frontline opposition presidential aspirant in the buildup to the 2027 general elections, Omoyele Sowore, made an appearance in court in solidarity with former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who was granted N100 million bail.

Sowore engaged Operatives of the Department of Security Services, DSS, in exchange of words for attempting to obstruct El-Rufai's movement, after the former governor was granted bail by the Federal High Court, Abuja.
