Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has staged a comeback to contest the 2027 presidential election on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Hayatu-Deen had, in previous elections, contested for presidential ticket on two occasions and lost the primary polls.

Hayatu-Deen, in Abuja, expressed concerns over rising cost of living, and insecurity.
He said a formal declaration would follow soon.

He warned that poor policy decisions have deepened hardship, citing high food and fuel prices and growing cases of ransom payments.

Hayatu-Deen called for disciplined leadership and people-focused reforms to restore confidence.

He expressed confidence in uniting the country and delivering security and economic stability.
