The leaders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, including Senator Seriake Henry Dickson, the presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the vice presidential candidate, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Thursday, arrived Akwanga, Nasarawa State, to lead the NDC grand finale campaign for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District by-election scheduled for Saturday, June 20.

The NDC State Chairman, Dogo Shammah, at a meeting of the State Working Committee in Lafia, emphasized that the by-election represents a crucial opportunity for the NDC to prove its growing political strength in the buildup to the 2027 general elections.

Shammah maintained that the party is working hard to secure victory for its candidate, Ishaya Ododo.

According to the State Chairman, the presence of the national leader, Seriake Dickson, the presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the vice presidential candidate, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, in Akwanga will reinforce the party.
