The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Senator Seriake Henry Dickson, and former Governor Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State, received former Senator Mohammed Hassan into the NDC.

Hassan represented Yobe South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

According to Kwankwaso, "we are delighted to welcome Senator Mohammed Hassan, Dambu, into the NDC.

"A seasoned grassroots mobilizer and outstanding legislator, Senator Hassan distinguished himself as an exceptional performer during his tenure representing Yobe South in the Senate.
