Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, at the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC, won the party's ticket for the 2027 general elections.

Oborevwori, accordingly, emerged the APC governorship candidate with 345,375 votes from all the wards in the state.

Chairman of the Delta APC Governorship Primaries Committee, Engineer Victor Abba, also the Returning Officer, announced the results, declaring the incumbent governor winner.

Governor Oborevwori was APC consensus candidate going into the Thursday Governorship Primary of the party.
