The Federal High Court, Kaduna, on Wednesday, fixed April 14 for ruling on the bail application of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai. Counsel to the former Governor, Oluwole Iyamu, SAN, expressed optimism of positive outcome.

The legal team of El-Rufai extensively argued the bail application before the judge decided on a date for judgment.

Iyamu, the Lead Counsel to the defendant, in a media interaction after the court proceedings, shared update on the ruling date.

Bello El-Rufai, member of the House of Representatives, representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, in a media interaction, said they believe in the rule of law and prayed the right thing is done.

In a separate case, the legal team of El-Rufai will appear before the Federal High Court, Abuja, on April 10 in a case with the Department of State Services, DSS.
