At the State Congress, Ben Bako emerged as the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Kaduna State. He succeeds Patrick Ambut, who has been leading the party in Kaduna State since 2023.

The new State Chairman will run the administration of the ADC in conjunction with Adamu Dattijo, who was re-elected State Secretary by delegates from the 23 local government areas of the state.
Some party stakeholders, at the congress, expressed optimism that the new leadership will enhance grassroots mobilization and improve ADC’s political standing across Kaduna State.
