Army uncovers illegal arms manufacturing factory in Delta
 
In it's effort to check the proliferation of arms, activities of IPOB and other crimes against the nation.
 
Operatives of the 63 brigade Nigerian Army have uncovered an illegal manufacturing gun and other security apparatus factory in the remote Delta forest of Onicha Olona community, in Aniocha North local government area of the state.
 
The illegal arms and drones manufacturing factory which is situated in the remote Delta community forest, is said to be run by a family of eight which include father, mother, sister and brothers who were all arrested by the Nigerian Army.
 
Speaking on the discovery, the commander 63 brigade Nigerian Army Brigadier General Ugochukwu  Vitus said the illegal factory act as a major supply source to insurgence in the south eastern part of Nigeria.
 
Parents of the workers who described it as a family business, said they have been working on security apparatus since their youthful years.
 
The eight suspects according to the brigade commander will be handed over to relevant agencies for further investigation and prosecution.
