The Youth Wing of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has launched a movement to drive home objectives of the opposition party.

The “Rise up Naija” campaign launched in Abuja on Thursday, according to the Convener, Aliyu Audu, is to ensure that Governance moves beyond empty promises of those in leadership.

At the launch, Alhaji Audu said the movement, which is also known as “RUN”, is for those who believe in development and will reconnect Nigerians to governance.

He said the movement which is also borne out of the frustrations that Nigerians face everyday aims at raising a new generation in the country.

Other party faithful who attended the launch commended the youths, saying that RUN is Hope, courage, and the believe that Nigeria can do better.

They expressed the belief that with the new Advocacy campaign, ADC is Committed to doing things differently.

The slogan for the new campaign movement is: “For a Nigeria that works”
