Barely four months to the general elections, the Nigeria police force organised a-day-workshop for the election stakeholders in osun state.

This includes society and vigilante groups who were furnished with information on how to secure the polling days in the forthcoming
general elections.

Speakers at the seminar pointed out roles of the police officers and that of the electorates.

Correspondent, Adeniyi folorunso reports that the police was urged to be civil in handling electoral matter before, during and after the elections just as the electorates were also warned to be law abided and play by rules of the game.

Outbreak of violence before, during and after the election in Nigeria cannot be overemphasised, due to the fraudulent act of most politicians who want to win the election at all costs.

It is therefore, a duty of police to arrest and prosecute the violators of the rules and order of electoral process but in a polite
manner.
                        
Speakers at the workshop bore their minds on what will guarantee successful conduct of 2015 general elections.
                               

Participants at the seminar want this type of meeting to continue in order to intimate the public on the need to be law abiding before, during and after the elections.
                

It was agreed by respondents who spoke with journalists at the venue of the seminar that all hands must be on deck to ensure a free, credible and acceptable elections in Nigeria.
