Ogun Monarchs Urge Youths To Embrace Peace Ahead Of 2027 Elections
Traditional leaders in Ogun State have called on youths to promote peace and avoid being used by politicians ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Alake of Egbaland, HRH Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, gave the advice through the Osi of Egba, Chief Bode Mustapha, at a youth mega rally organized by the Central Coordinating Movement at Ake Palace, Abeokuta.
He urged youths to respect individual political choices and shun violence during the elections.
Also, Abeokuta North Chairman, Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, said youths are mobilizing for peaceful participation, while expressing support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Abeokuta South Chairman, Hon. Balogun Afeez, encouraged youths to obtain their PVCs and drive positive change.
The leader of the Central Coordinating Movement in Ogun Central, Chief Taiwo Elewide, urged youths to remain cooperative and committed to building a better future for the state.
The group also declared support for President Tinubu and APC gubernatorial candidate, Solomon Adeola.
