Strike looms in Ogun over minimum wage
The Ogun State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Emmanuel Bankole has revealed that the organized labour unions may resolve to industrial action over the national wage implementation in the state.
Bankole made this known while speaking with Galaxy News on the sideline of an event in Abeokuta, the state capital.
He submitted that due to the alleged delay by the government in the negotiation on the new national minimum wage, the Union could no longer guarantee industrial harmony in the state.
The Labour leader however urged the state governor, Dapo Abiodun to set up a negotiation committee as a matter of urgency or risk industrial disharmony amongst the organized labour.
