Stay off Asaba Waterfront City - Delta Govt Warns Land Grabbers, Property Developers
Delta State Government has issued strong warning to land grabbers, property developers and the general public to stay off the Asaba Waterfront City project site. The government cautioned that all illegal structures in the area will be demolished.
The Special Project Director, supervising the project, Victor Ebonka, on inspection of the Asaba Waterfront City site in Asaba, in collaboration with officials of the Ministry of Lands and Surveys, asserted that the land is fully acquired, gazetted and completely owned by the state government.
Ebonka maintained that full-scale land reclamation would commence in the coming weeks, stressing that the Oborevwori administration has met all statutory and funding obligations for the acquisition of the land, and remains committed to delivering a world-class, self-sustaining city.
