Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, on Friday, extended goodwill message to Muslims across Nigeria and the world om their celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.   

The Senator stated that this period of devotion and reflection profoundly remind of collective responsibilities to one another and to the society everyone shapes.

Nwoko advocated the need to sustain the enduring values of faith, humility, generosity, and unity. According to him, "these principles must continue to guide our actions as we strive to build a more peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous nation".

He urged all Nigerians, irrespective of faith or background, to embrace love, tolerance, and mutual respect, and to extend compassion to the less privileged.

Nwoko, in his goodwill message stated: 

On the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world.

I give thanks to Almighty Allah for granting us the strength, patience, and grace to complete the sacred month of Ramadan. This period of devotion and reflection serves as a profound reminder of our responsibilities to one another and to the society we collectively shape.

Eid is not merely a celebration; it is a call to sustain the enduring values of faith, humility, generosity, and unity. These principles must continue to guide our actions as we strive to build a more peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous nation.
