PSN Tasks Governors On Qualitative Healthcare Delivery
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria has called on State Governors in Nigeria to prioritize healthcare delivery in order to guarantee the wellbeing of the masses.
The former President of the body, Pharm. Olumide Akintayo, while speaking at the historic 2026 PSN Colloquium in Adamawa, stated that any Governor, who prioritizes healthcare clearly holds the lives of the people in high cherish and understands the fundamental importance of a state whose citizens' health is intact.
He emphasized that the pharmaceutical industry is the bedrock of any functional health system, effectively solidifying Fintiri’s status as a "pro-pharmaceutical" leader who acts with precision and compassion.
The President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Pharm. Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for dedication to sanitizing the healthcare industry. He notedthat his investments in medical infrastructure and the pharmaceutical value chain align perfectly with the profession's vision for a secured health sector.
Governor Fintiri assured the delegation that the state will work closely with the Society to deliver a hitch-free, world-class conference that reflects Adamawa’s reputation for hospitality and capacity.
In a spirit of collaboration, the PSN leadership reaffirmed its total commitment and support to the administration’s efforts in strengthening healthcare delivery and expanding access to safe, quality medicines.
