Pro-Sunday Igboho Protest Rocks Ibadan

Some aggrieved youth on Wednesday registered their displeasure against the arrest of the Yoruba Activist, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho.

The Youths had gathered at the Soka House of the activists where they condemned the arrest and detention of Adeyemo in the Benin Republic.

The Youth with placards of various inscriptions accused the federal government of witch-hunting Igboho for taking up the course of his people for self actualization.

The protesters later took off from the area and moved around Sanyo, Academy, Felele, Challenge and other parts of Ibadan, the State capital chanting various solidarity.

They appealed to well-meaning individuals both at home and in the diaspora to prevail on the Administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to desist from witch-hunting Igboho for no just cause.

The Protesters demanded the unconditional release of the Yoruba Activist adding that there is no going back in the agitation for the creation of Oduduwa Republic.

As at the time of this report, the protesters are still on the streets of Ibadan for the pro-Sunday Igboho protest.
