Kano State Police Command has again rescued another man unlawfully confined for a period of 30 years in a solitary room by his relatives.

Kano state correspondent King Richard reports that The relatives of the man locked him up in a room without windows when he was 25 years old and left him there chained to a log of wood for the past 30 years for having an alleged psychiatric problem.

While Confirming the incidence, the Spokesman of the Kano Police Command, Abdullahi Haruna said the victim has been admitted into a medical facility and already an investigation has been launched into the matter.

During the week, the Police had rescued Ahmed Aminu, who was imprisoned by father for 7 years and another, 30-year-old who was also held for 15 years by father.
