The Kaduna State Police Command has revealed the arrest of a suspect, Aminu Lawal, over murder, involving fatal stabbing at Kawo Flyover at the weekend.

According to the Police, the victim was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone near Mamu Oil, close to Kawo Bridge, and died shortly after being taken to the hospital.

The police responded swiftly after receiving distress calls and launched an investigation, leading to Lawal's arrest. He has confessed to his involvement in the crime.

Efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest other members of the gang.

The Commissioner of Police has directed units to intensify operations in the area.

The police assured that they are committed to bringing all those involved to justice, and residents have been urged to remain calm as operations continue.
