The mother of the executive governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola, has passed on today, August 1, 2017.

It was reported that Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, also known as Mama Olobi, died this morning in Ilesha.

Meanwhile, it was also gathered in the report that Aregbesola, is on a trip to Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State, for the Federal Government-Progressive Governors Forum Parley on Policy Synergy to ensure Development.

However, the governor’s Twitter handle (@raufaregbesola) confirmed the incident when it tweeted : “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (‘from Allah we came, to Him we shall return’).”

Following the Islamic rites, the governor’s mother will be buried later in the day.
