Okuama killings: Delta governor inaugurates IDP management committee
Succour will soon come the way of the displaced people of Okuama community in Ughelli south local government area of Delta state as governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Wednesday inaugurated internally displaced persons management committee.
The committee which has veteran journalist and former editor of the guardian newspaper Mr. Abraham Ogbodo as chairman, is saddled with the responsibility of resettling and caring for the people.
Inaugurating the committee at the government house in Asaba, the governor charged the committee to carefully plan the resettlement and rehabilitation of the innocent ones to Okuama.
Responding on behalf of the committee members, the chairman expressed appreciation to the governor as he promised efficient discharge of their duty.
