Ogun police parade three suspects over alleged murder

The Ogun State Police Command has paraded three suspects who allegedly murdered one Ahmed Obisanwo, a 200-level student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye.


Briefing newsmen at the police command headquarters, Eleweran, Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, said the three suspects Idowu Ayodele, Segun Ogunsanwo, and Akeem Salisu, would face murder charges.

According to the Police boss, the suspects had invaded a hotel in Ijebu-Igbo area of the State dispossessing people of their valuables and seizing two young men.  He said one of the suspects escaped from the suspected criminals, while one of them remained with them.  

But one of the suspects, Akeem Salisu who spoke with newsmen denied killing Obisanwo. He said the group was commissioned by the community to rid it of cultists and thugs.
