Ogun Govt Begins Recruitment of 1,500 Primary School Teachers
The Ogun state government has commenced proactive moves towards bridging the gap of the dearth of teachers in its primary schools and improve the standard of teaching and learning in some selected primary schools in eleven local government areas of the state
To this end,5000 applicants have sat for the computer-based examination in five centers across the state where about 1,500 successful applicants are to be employed to the state public primary schools in the state
Speaking on the development, the Special Adviser to the governor on education, Ronke Soyombo said the move is part of the ongoing effort aimed at rejuvenating and improving the quality of education and restore the old glory of the state as a leading light in education in the country.
To ensure transparency of purpose is brought to bear on the selection process, these applicants were subjected to a computer-based test.
