The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission have stated categorically to all and sundry in the state that no one is above the law. 

This is coming from the executive chairman of the commission Muhuyi Magaji when allegations of financial impropriety are being revived against the embattled emir of Kano, Mohammadu Sanusi the second.

Magaji said Kano state people's confidence in the commission has been awakened to the point that it has to be sustained, adding that the commission has become a means of seeking redress for members of the public whenever they feel cheated. He warned public office holders in Kano state not to violate their oath of office because the law will hold them accountable for any error committed by them.

He said they will continue to prosecute anyone who runs afoul of the law in Kano state.
