Nigeria's First lady Advocates Free HIV/AIDS treatment

Nigeria's First lady senator Oluremi Tinubu has advocated free treatment programmes for Human Immunodeficiency Virus HIV and the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome AIDS patients in the country.

The first lady made this known during the second day of her working visit to Delta state.

Addressing the gathering which includes health officers and management of different healthcare institutions across the state.

Senator Oluremi stressed that the goal of the campaign is to address the growing complacency in the response to the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Also speaking, the Delta state first lady and wife of the state governor Mrs Tobore Oborevwori states the benefits of the campaign as some HIV survivors sensitize the people on surviving with the virus.
