The Lagos state commissioner of police Fatai Owoseni has said that the police are fully ready for today's election, July 22 .

Owoseni made this known while speaking to the press men on Friday, July 21 in yaba.

He assured that the command has deployed 30,000 police man for the up coming local government poll for the post of chairmanship and chancellorship post in the state.

Recalled that the state government through the office of Commissioner for Information and Strategy had previously announced the restriction on vehicular movement around the state for the local government elections.

The restriction will be enforce 7 am and 3 pm on today, July 22, to allow for a smooth conduct of the local government elections and unhindered participation.
