Gov. Uba Sani has said that his administration will make Kaduna State a hostile environment for insurgent and bandits, insisting that the state is taking a strong stance against insecurity and will not tolerate any threats to peace. The Kaduna state Governor disclose this in address at the Kaduna State Security Sectors Stakeholders’ Engagement, organized by the Headquarters, 1 Division, Nigerian Army/ Joint Taskforce, Operations Fansan Yamma on Tuesday.

Governor Uba Sani was represented by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr Sule Shu’aibu, He emphasized that the state government was dedicated to protecting the lives and properties of its citizens. He commended the 1 Division Nigerian Army for organizing the stakeholders’ meeting and bringing together the stakeholders to discuss security and develop strategies.

In his address, Maj.-Gen. Abubakar Wase, General officer commanding one division Nigerian army Kaduna, who is also the Commander, Sector 1, Operation Fansan Yamma, said the forum was aimed at addressing critical security challenges and collaboratively chart a course toward a safer and more secure Kaduna State.

 The theme of the event ‘Community Engagement and Conflict Prevention: Building Trust and Stability brought together major stakeholders across the state including traditional and religious leaders, different heads of security personnel’s amongst others.
