Kaduna Deputy Governor Pray For Peace At Eid-El-Fitr
Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe of Kaduna State has urged Muslims to take a cue from Prophet Ibrahim's generosity during the Eid-el-fitr celebrations. She made the call after observing the Eid-el-fitr prayer with fellow Muslims at the Barnawa Prayer Ground.
Dr Balarabe emphasized the importance of sharing one's blessings with the less privileged, highlighting the values of obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and unity that the occasion embodies. She prayed for peace in the country, setting a tone for a reflective and charitable Eid-el-fitr celebration.
The deputy governor's message resonated with other Muslim leaders, who also encouraged citizens to reflect on the true meaning of Eid-el-fitr. They called on residents to embody the values of the festival in their daily lives, promoting a sense of community and compassion.
The Muslim umma stressed the need for continued prayers for the state and country, seeking guidance and strength for leaders as they tackle pressing challenges. They urged citizens to strive for unity and understanding, embodying the spirit of Eid-el-fitr in their actions and interactions.
As Muslims celebrated Eid-el-fitr, the message from Dr Balarabe and other leaders served as a reminder of the importance of kindness, generosity, and compassion. The occasion was an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and giving, with many urged to continue praying for peace and prosperity in Nigeria.
