Governor Fubara appeals for sustainable peace in Rivers community
Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has appealed to the people of Opobo to sustain the relative peace in their community.
The governor made the appeal when he led the Zamfara state governor Dauda lawal and other government officials to the official flag off of the Opobo road and bridge project.
Addressing the community residents after leading the Zamfara state governor to cut the tape, governor Fubara said embracing peace will attract more development to the community.
On his part, the Zamfara state governor while commending his Rivers counterpart, said his commitment to better the lives of Rivers people should be emulated.
