Osun state Governor, Ademola Adeleke has presented certificates of bond valued at 1.99 billion naira to pensioners in the state.

The governor also instructed the Head of Service to work out modalities to unify various groups of pensioners in the state to enable equal response to their welfare in line with his desire to regulate pension administration in the state.

Speaking during the presentation at the Local Government Service Commission, Abeere, Adeleke said he has, in two years, released over 22 billion naira pension fund which represents about 70 percent of what the state's two immediate past administrations released in 12 years.

As part of activities marking his second anniversary, the governor also presented awards to various indigenes of the state who have distinguished themselves in different capacities.
