FRSC Extends Safety Advocacy To Royal Fathers, Visits Asagba of Asaba
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has extended its safety advocacy to royal fathers and the grassroots population.
Sustaining engagement with traditional institutions to deepen road safety advocacy and strengthen community partnerships, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, went to Asaba, Delta State, where he formally invested and decorated Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, SAN, the Asagba of Asaba, as an Honorary Special Marshal of the Corps.
The agency observed that the ceremony highlighted the Corps’ deliberate strategy of leveraging the moral authority of revered traditional rulers to amplify safety consciousness and promote responsible road use.
The Corps Marshal expressed that the investiture is reserved for distinguished leaders of integrity and influence. He expressed confidence that His Royal Majesty’s respected voice will further advance compliance with traffic regulations and respect for constituted authority.
The Asagba appreciated the recognition; he pledged unwavering support to the Corps’ mandate, reaffirming his commitment to championing safer roads and collaborative nation-building.
