President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone, at the weekend, hosted the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge SAN, who has been on working visit to Sierra Leone.

President Maada Bio and his wife, the First Lady of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, held engagement with the Obi of Asaba and his entourage on cultural exchange across Africa.

President Bio, Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, commended the Royal Father for his cultural diplomacy, the initiative of cultural exchange across Africa and bridging the gap within African traditional societies.

President Bio expressed readiness to facilitate a conference of West African traditional rulers to position traditional rulers as the driving force for development, security, and peace in the African continent.

The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, commended the Asagba for his innovative cultural leadership values to galvanize traditional rulers in Africa for the common good.
She promised to visit Asaba, Delta State, in subsequent time.
