During the parade, CP Bennett Igweh, the Commissioner of Police for the FCT, revealed a disturbing discovery of firearms and assorted weapons discovered among the detained pickers.

CP Igweh further alleged that some of the apprehended pickers had transformed into perpetrators of robbery and burglary, underlining the pressing need for heightened security measures.
