In a proactive move to tackle criminal activities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the FCT Police Command recently staged a significant paraded over 300 individuals identified as "Baba Bolar" trash pickers.

During the parade, CP Bennett Igweh, the Commissioner of Police for the FCT, revealed a disturbing discovery of firearms and assorted weapons discovered among the detained pickers.

CP Igweh further alleged that some of the apprehended pickers had transformed into perpetrators of robbery and burglary, underlining the pressing need for heightened security measures.
