Governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki has said that the state government has set up a command center, while also collaborating with security operatives to fight crime.

Governor Obaseki made the disclosure during an emergency meeting with security operatives on the need to tackle the alarming increase of security incidents.

The governor said the command center in Benin city will be responsible for responding to security threats and incidents.

The state police commissioner and the 4 brigade commander also promise to form synergy with the government in tackling crime and criminality.
