Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has said that the state government has partnered the office of the inspector general of police IGP Kayode Egbetokun, in ensuring that sponsors of cult related killings in the state are prosecuted.

The governor made this known in his New year message to the people of Edo state while felicitating with them.

Governor Obaseki said the state government under his watch will leave no stone unturned in making sure that cultists and their sponsors are arrested and prosecuted.

On the November governorship election in the state, the Edo state governor called on the people to vote for competence in moving the state forward.
