Court Begins Hearing On Warri Chief Alleged Murder Case
The Edo state criminal court four sitting in Benin the state capital have commenced hearing into the alleged murder involving the Iyasere of Warri Chief Johnson Atseleghe, who is being accused of kidnapping and killing a youth leader Sunny Etchie.
The Warri chief who appeared in court with seven other suspects were docked before Justice Ohimai Ovbiagele who took their plea before adjourning the case.
Fielding questions from newsmen after the lead counsel to the defendant Ighedosa Imadegbelo SAN refused to comment, counsel to the Late Sunny spoke on the hearing and date of adjournment.
This is the third time the case will be adjourned by the court who promised a speedy hearing to the case when it resumes come January 27.
