NDLEA lament lack of adequate rehab center in Kano
The National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency are lamenting the lack of adequate rehabilitation centres to cater for victims of drug abuse in Kano state.
The Kano state commander of the agency, Abdul Ibrahim said it is sad to note that Kano state which has more than ten million people could only accommodate sixteen people in its rehabilitation centre.
He added that the situation has led to the continuous rejection of drug abuse victims that could have been assisted by the agency.
He called for help from well-meaning Nigerians to build a new rehab centre in the state.
