CAN, muslim council partner to end crisis in Adamawa

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Muslims council in Adamawa state says it is doing everything possible to bring an end to the incessant crisis going on in some parts of the state. 

 


The two religious bodies met to find a lasting solution to the lingering crisis in the state since the incessant crisis in some parts of the state have resulted to  loss of several lives, especially in Numan, Demsa, Lamurde, Girei and Dunme local government areas of the state. 

 
However, this meeting is the first formal meeting where the officials of the two religious bodies would come together for the peace project of the state. 
 
Shortly after the meeting which was held behind closed door, the executives were excited with the outcome of the meeting, as they have agreed to work together for the peaceful coexistence of the state. 
 
The state chairman of the Muslims council, Sahabo Magaji says they will be up and doing in educating the followers on the importance of leaving together.
 
On his part, the chairman of CAN Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza believed that the two religion preaches peace, hence the need for the followers to embrace peace.
