Breaking: hoodlums invade Senate, snatches mace
A group of hoodlums have invaded the Senate floor at the National Assembly complex in Abuja.
According to reports, the invaders snatched the official symbol of the house, mace.
The Senate was in a state of confusion after a group numbering six carted away with the Senate mace.
The group came in company with the embattled Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege during the Senate proceedings boasting that the Senate belongs to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and not the property of the Senate President.
The group escaped with the mace into a waiting SUV and then drove away unhindered, by the security operatives in the Senate premises.
