The Court of Appeal in Abuja has invalidated the election of Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North district.

In a judgment delivered on Monday, the court declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Amos Yohanna, as the rightful winner of the senatorial election.

Reacting immediately after the verdict, Abbo promised to speak while announcing his removal in his official Facebook page.

He then called on his supporters and constituents to be calm.

Abbo became popular after a controversial encounter with a female sex toy shop keeper in Abuja.
