There is rising populist disquiet over recurring murder of Army Generals by bandits without consequences.

Four Generals have become victims of teh raging insecurity and surge of terrorism in Nigeria; they include]: Brigadier General Oseni Omoh Braima, Major-General Hassan Ahmed, Major General Rabe Abubakar, Brigadier General M. UBA.

Brigadier General M. UBA was ambushed and killed by terrorists. Brigadier General Oseni Omoh Braima was murdered, together with 17 officers during coordinated overnight operations.

Nigerians expressed concerns that the "four Generals were murdered by terrorists. Yet, not one of their killers was arrested."
