Ondo state government is set to partner private firms to put a lasting solution to power problem through a renewable energy power plant that will generate over 100KVA.

This development came to the fore at a meeting with foreign firm and officials of the Ondo State Government in charge of public private partnership programme.

There is no doubt that electricity is not stable in Nigeria in spite of the  spirited efforts made by the federal government.

However, some states have decided to take the bull by the horns to make electricity constantly available to their people.

One of such states is Ondo which is living no stone unturned to boost power supply through renewable energy.

To ensure that this is realised, its officials has been holding meetings with local and foreign partners.

The latest meeting with a foreign appears to be the tonic government needed to boost power generation.

Through public private partnership arrangement, about 100kva will be generated via renewable energy.

it is a widely known fact that only improvement in power supply can effect meaningful progression in any nation`s socio economic lives.

For Ondo State Government, it is ready to key into the system because nothing is too much in as much it is for the benefit of the majority of the people.

Though, the two partners have not signed memorandum of understanding, it is hoped that they will expedite action to make the project a reality.
