Maritime workers protest
Protesting maritime workers from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) in Warri port, Delta state, have appealed to the federal government to revive the port so that maritime activities will return.
The workers, who displayed placards with different inscriptions at the entrance of the port, were chanting solidarity songs to show their respect for the union’s leadership.
The chairman and zonal chairman spoke on the need to revive the ports.
On the alleged division in the Warri and Zonal union, the Zonal chairman denied knowledge, stressing that the sector is safe environment to operate.
