A 29-year-old fruit seller from Agbor in Ika south local government area of Delta state has tested positive to the dreaded COVID-19 in Delta.

A statement made available to Galaxy news by the state commissioner for information Charles Aniagwu said the new case is already undergoing treatment in one of the three isolation centres in the state and warned against negative statement as the virus is real.

The new case now brings to twenty-three the number of confirmed cases in Delta state, with thirteen active cases, four deaths and six patients discharged.
