Synagogue Church Tragedy: S'African Families to Sue T.B Joshua
On Friday September 12 2014, a building belonging to Synagogue church collapsed killing a total of 115 persons, 84 of which were South Africans. It has been alleged by authorities that the building collaspsed due to the inability of the foundation to hold the structure.
President Goodluck Jonathan and Lagos state governor Fahola have respectively visited the tragic site extending their cndolenses to the church and the victims.
Recently, two South-African men who lost their sisters when a building collapsed had an interview with the BBC where they stated their intention to sue evangelist T.B Joshua.
One of the men who goes by the name Thanuxolo doro wrote an open letter calling on affected families to join in the suit againt the Nigerian tele-evangelist.
Doro added that his griveance is not that the building collasped but the manner in which things were handled after the incident, "We I contacted them and they won't tell me anything, we also saw reports that emergency workers were denied access initially, access that could have saved lives.
