Bendtner will Be Fined For Copenhagen Trip: Wenger

Arsene Wenger has hinted the Denmark striker, 26, could be on his way out of the club. Wenger said "Nobody gave him any permission to go to Copenhagen and he will be fined for that."

Asked whether this was the 'final straw' for the player, Wenger replied: "He is at the end of his contract at the end of the season." Bendtner was not among the travelling squad for the Bayern Munich Champions League tie - which Arsenal lost 3-1 on aggregate - because of a minor knee injury.

He travelled to Copenhagen where he was allegedly involved in an incident involving a taxi driver. Wenger said: "Honestly I don't know really what happened because I haven't made any conversation with him.

"The only thing that is for sure is he had nothing to do in Copenhagen." And he added: "For the rest, [if] he has created some trouble there I don't know, I will speak to him today."

Bendtner has not played for the Gunners since 2 February, but did start for Denmark in the Wembley friendly against England last week. He has struggled for consistency arriving in London from FC Copenhagen in 2005 and had loan spells at Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus.
