Vice President Kashim Shettima security chiefs and other dignitaries were present at the National Police Day Celebration at Eagle Square, Abuja, to honour the dedication and sacrifices of the Nigeria Police Force.

The event highlighted the Force’s critical role in protecting lives, maintaining law and order, and upholding justice, while also strengthening the relationship between the police and the communities they serve.

The celebration also provided an opportunity to recognize gallantry and exceptional service among officers, as awards were presented to those who have demonstrated courage and commitment in the line of duty.

Tributes were paid to fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, as the nation reaffirmed its collective commitment to supporting and strengthening the Nigeria Police Force in addressing evolving security challenges.
