Former President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, extended goodwill message to his predecessor, former Senate President David Mark, on his 78th birthday.

Saraki acknowledged Mark as the longest-serving Senator in Nigeria.
Saraki, in his goodwill message wrote:

"Happy 78th birthday to our dear former Senate President and Nigeria’s longest-serving Senator, His Excellency, Senator David Mark.

"I pray for God’s continued protection over your life, and that He grants you the strength and wisdom to continue lending your vast experience and leadership to the progress of our nation."
