Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat of Lagos State was delegated to receive the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, at the Murtala Mohammed Airport Presidential Wing, Ikeja, Lagos, on arrival from Abuja, before the commissioning of various infrastructure projects in Lagos.

The Deputy Governor, receiving the Senate President, led the delegation to meet with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu before the official commissioning of projects in the state.

The President of the Senate was accompanied from Abuja to Lagos by Senator Ned Nwoko.
